John Clohessy, The Chairman of the Board of Management was present for the awarding of certificates by Martin Brennan of Proactive Management, who conducted a series of Team Building Workshops for the Business Skills and Construction Skills Groups. Both groups are participating in a European Funded project entitled ‘ArtOut’ which seeks to develop participant’s skills in photography and digital media while exploring issues of identity and European citizenship.
Martin spoke warmly of his time with the young people and stressed the importance of Course content in the world of work. Joe Rodgers of HUSCIE Ireland, the Irish partner in the project, also complimented the efforts of the trainees, and reminded the group that four of them will be chosen to represent the centre at an exhibition to be held in Berlin this May.
